MVSA's 15th Year of Girls Fastpitch Pitching Clinics - Montgomery County's best

MVSA softball is pleased to announce the 15th annual Fastpitch Softball Pitching Clinics for beginner and experienced pitchers. The MVSA advanced fastpitch softball pitching clinic has produced the very best fastpitch softball pitchers in Montgomery County and surrounding areas, with several moving on to pitch at the collegiate level.
The advanced pitching clinic will continue to be run by two Washington Metro Fastpitch Hall of Fame coaches; Jim Kibbe and David Jacobs. The advanced clinic will be held on Tuesdays starting October 1st from 8:15pm to 9:30pm and runs through February 25 at Lake Marion Community Center. To attend the advance clinic, pitchers must have experience at the high school or select level and must have control of their pitches.
MVSA will also offer a novice pitching clinic, which is a great place for beginners to start to gain command of their pitches. The novice clinic will be run for a second year by former high school All Metro Pitcher and former MVSA Storm Select pitcher, Rachel Jacobs. The novice clinic will be held on Mondays starting October 7th from 7:00pm to 8:30pm and runs through December 16th at Lake Marion Community Center.
Limited space is available at each level and the clinics have filled quickly over the past years. Cost is $150 ($100 for MVSA STORM pitchers). All pitchers must bring their own catcher (parents okay). Catchers under age 18 MUST wear approved catcher headgear. No cleats allowed in Lake Marion CC.
